Lil Wayne - Hot Revolver (2009)
It seems like new Lil Wayne material is a dime a dozen around here. After a couple of stinker mixtapes, Weezy is setting up to drop The Drought is Over: Part Six (if he hasn't done so already). I have a couple of tracks from the mixtape. The first song, "Hot Revolver," features a heavily tagged, Green Day / 808's and Heartbreak -inspired Lil Wayne . I'm sure many of you will find this combination extremely interesting and exciting.

Things have been rather quiet round the Voxtrot camp these last two years. Nonetheless, we are thrilled to be reentering the musical minds of you and your loved ones. During the week of the South By Southwest Music Festival, we will be performing two concerts. These will coincide with the premier of a new song, which was recorded and mixed with Jim Eno [Spoon] at his studio in Austin..Regarding our absence, sometimes one needs to disappear in order to regroup; situations change and human beings are swept here and there by the marvelous ebb and flow of culture.
And so, there can be only this: a return to a love of music.

Gliss is one of the most flawless Asobi Seksu song, i'm addicted to this song. The album "Hush" is also a great record. However, i wanted you to check out the great noise pop tune. Before he reached the age of 18, Soulja Boy Tell Em (born DeAndre Way; originally Soulja Boy until copyright issues interfered) was already an ambitious artist and a seasoned businessman, wielding all the hitmaking requirements: producer, live entertainer, and an ability to write catchy hooks. Born in 1990 in Chicago, IL, Way moved from the Windy City down to Atlanta when he was six years old, but then went to live with his father in Batesville, MS, at age 14. In Mississippi, the young entertainer found all the various connections to seriously pursue a musical career, including the aid of his father, who provided a recording studio. After the success of spreading his music through the Internet in 2004 and establishing his Stacks on Deck Entertainment label, he moved back to Atlanta to pursue industry leads and to get his feet wet doing live performances. Shortly thereafter, he was discovered by Atlanta producer Mr. Collipark (Ying Yang Twins, Bubba Sparxxx, Young Jeezy), who helped launch Soulja Boy Tell Em from a local sensation to a national mover and shaker -- and it was all largely due to the Internet. His MySpace page broke the site's records and generated millions of views. Affiliated with Interscope via Collipark's Collipark Music imprint, Soulja Boy Tell Em gradually rose to number one on the pop charts with his snap-dance hit single "Crank Dat (Soulja Boy)" in 2007. The Dresden Dolls - The Dresden Dolls (2003)
The Dresden Dolls is the self-titled debut studio album by the duo The Dresden Dolls, which was released on September 26, 2003 by 8ft. Records, the band's personal label. Upon signing with Roadrunner Records, the album was re-released on April 27, 2004. The enhanced CD included a video for "Girl Anachronism." The album artwork was also modified to mask which record sleeves had been used in the album artwork.
Blind Melon - For My Friends (2008)
The recently reborn Blind Melon will release their first studio album in thirteen years this spring. It introduces new singer Travis Warren as a replacement for late front man Shannon Hoon, who died in 1995. Warren joins original members Rogers Stevens, Christopher Thorn, Brad Smith, and Glen Graham. "This record's a great rock 'n' roll record," Warren says. "It's kind of like (1995's) 'Soup' - the more you listen to it, the more it grows on you." Without eschewing familiar Blind Melon sounds, the album ventures off on tracks like "Sometimes". According to Warren, "We definitely want to experiment and do different things."
