Jenifer Paige is back! Most of you know her amazing chart-winner song "Crush". Her debut album Jennifer Paige was released in August of 1998 and consisted of guitar-driven mid-tempo songs such as Questions, Between You and Me, Get to Me, and Just to Have You. Critics took notice of her voice, and Billboard declared that "Paige succeeds in the nearly impossible task of oozing smouldering sensuality without resorting to typical groans and moans; instead, she uses her notably flexible vocal range to convey the emotion of the tune.... As a result, she breathes a refreshing intensity into the song." Best Kept Secret is a nice pop record for an artist to fill the five year break.

Scarlett Johansson has nothing to prove. She knows it's her A-list status as an actress that opened musical doors for her, but she's not looking to dominate the pop charts. Instead, she views her album of Tom Waits covers, 'Anywhere I Lay My Head,' as a labor of love -- simply something this self-described "go-getter" wanted to do for herself.
Release group ‘EON’ brings us a neat little surprise from New Zealand, now re-united, band Crowded House. After a long breakup and a sketchy existence, these guys are back after an 11 year ‘break’ with a greatest hits package. Good tunes and rockin’ riffs. Enjoy!

After my pushing mention on Modern music blog, i stop listening to Nottingham based romantic hereos' The Hungry Saw. Honestly, it wasn't the best thing on 2008. I gave that rate because this band deserved it many times, releasing such mellow records in the past years.
