"Don't Hold Your Breath" is a song by American recording artist Nicole Scherzinger, taken from her debut studio album, Killer Love (2011). The empowering mid-tempo pop song was written by Toby Gad, Josh Alexander and Billy Steinberg. The song was released on March 10, 2011, as the album's second single. Critical reception towards the song was positive, with critics preferring it over previous Pussycat Dolls singles, as well as praising the empowering message and theme. The pop production was also praised.

Chris Brown - Yeah 3x
We all know what happened. Chris Brown assaulted his former girlfriend Rihanna and his career underwent a massive downward spiral. His last album, Graffiti, only sold 316,000 copies in the U.S as a result of what he did to Rihanna. He is still on the road to recovering that fame and success that he had before. He recently released Yeah 3X, the lead single off his forthcoming F.A.M.E (Forgiving All My Enemies) album.
Some pop musicians have relied on one formula to attain chart success. This formula is to turn a pop song into pop/techno hybrid of sorts with synthesizers pumping up the volume of the track released by the musician – waiting to be quickly accepted by the mainstream market. This is the formula used by Brown in Yeah 3X. His vocals still dominate over the synthesizer-heavy instrumentation. This might put Brown back into prominence but this new single of his sounds just like the recent material by Usher, Jason Derulo, and basically everyone who has had a collaboration with David Guetta.
This is a radio-friendly track but I think I really need a break from hearing all tracks that rely so heavily on synthesizers. It is the trend lately and I guess I just have to get used to it.

Band of Horses - Live P3Sessions EP (2011)
Ben Bridwell's band, Ryan Monroe, Tyler Ramsey, Bill Reynolds and Creighton Barrett, who recently was performing in venues in Barcelona and Madrid, had a great appreciation of the public and press with Infinite Arms, his album of 2010.
