Former Rolling Stones producer Jimmy Miller generated the spirit of Beggars Banquet for the rousing "Movin' On Up," while elsewhere the group imply acknowledgement to talismen the Beach Boys and Big Star. thanks so much for intr0ducing me to this fantastic album. Been hearin so much about this but never got curioUs enuff to actually give it a listen. Now I am excited to get a cd.
The sonGs are perfect for dancin, ravin', groovin, contemplatin' with a spaced-out look in your eyes, fantasizin, and trippin and reachin' for the stars or high heavens. I can never listen to Loaded, Movin on Up or Come Together without standin up and dancin, such is the power of its vibes.
I really love it. I just can't help but wonder if we can actually call this critically-acclaimed album a "classic" 30 years from now.
