James Murphy returns with another strong electronic album. This Is Happening is the third and purportedly final album from LCD Soundsystem.

The album is dedicated to Jerry Fuchs (1974–2009), who had performed drums live with the band on occasion as well as having a big part with other associated DFA acts.
